Back in the good old days when I was young, all fiction had the same plot. The beautiful princess is the catch of the town, all men pursue her, some are villains, the handsome prince slays the undeserving, the princess leaps into his arms in gratitude, and they fall in love, get married and.. We all know the prince and princess always go on to live "happily ever after" like on tvs. Cinderella and prince charming, Prince Florian and Snow White, Prince Phillip and Princess Aurora, Prince Eric who caught the heart of Ariel in the little mermaid. But have you ever notice that those fairy tales end with wedding? They dont ever review the honeymoon and surely dont touch on trauma of discovering that this person is nothing like you and disagress with your opinion on things as basic as doing the chores, choosing the bed sheet colors and etc.
Yes, truthfully woman/man changes after they get married. Based on what I've heard la kan. That is when the mask falls from their face. We finally know their true colors.
So all these young people with "till Jannah" statement and a pic together holding hands. What are you trying to prove? Are you sure he/she will be the one for you in the future? No. Because what? Even you, yourself keep changing boyfriends and girlfriends. You cant have forever with every single person in your life. So save that "till Jannah" statement until you are married with that special person please. *a reminder for me too*
It is not wrong to be in relationship before marriage as in islam "Cintakan Allah sayangi sesama manusia". But if the love between two parties over the limits set by Allah, then that is wrong.
My intention of saying all these not because that I am perfect or I never made mistakes. I've been through so many things in my life and I've made a lot of mistakes along the way. And I regret my past. But remember, the door to repentance is always open for anyone because "Allah loves the taa'ibeen (those who repent) ". If I can take all my mistakes back, I would. Not even for my MR HUBBY but for myself. But sadly I can't....
Based on one of the best video I've heard and watched : "so you think you're in love?" by Nouman Ali Khan. Basically, this article speaks for itself. Go search and watch it on youtube.
